About our redevelopment

The Bathurst Hospital Redevelopment will provide more of the care you need, closer to home, with welcoming, safe and convenient new facilities for a better hospital experience.
The NSW Government has announced $200 million for the project, to benefit the Bathurst, Blayney, Oberon and Rylstone communities.
The redevelopment will reduce the need to travel out of the area and ensure the community has first class care well into the future. It is currently in the planning stage.
We acknowledge the many clan groups of the Wiradjuri Nation upon who's lands our facility is built, and all Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and their continuing connections to culture, land, sea and community.
